Because brewing tea is an ancestral art, we were inspired by the masters in the field who brew their tea without filters! In order to adapt it to our gentle European palates, we have integrated the filter directly into the lid. Thanks to this minimalist aesthetic, this carafe can be integrated into any home environment.
The first defect of a teapot is its filter, which reduces the brewing area in the centre. To make your brewing perfect, we wanted a filter that met our expectations. So for the first time we integrated it directly into the lid. It had to be tight enough to prevent the tea from escaping, but light enough to allow the flavours to diffuse perfectly.
For the material, we chose 304 stainless steel, which may not sound familiar to you, but it is a guarantee for the long term. In addition to being heat and corrosion resistant, stainless steel is full of qualities: it is hostile to the proliferation of bacteria, easy to maintain and durable over time.
To make each of your tea tastings a new discovery, we have chosen the double-walled borosilicate glass. It will allow you to admire all the explosions of colours that your tea will produce when brewed without burning your fingers.
As for the brewing temperature, don't worry, borosilicate glass can withstand high heat and temperature changes. Widely used in the food industry, this material is healthy as it does not retain any odour and does not stain. This carafe is dishwasher safe.
For a perfect brew, you need to limit the damage and not restrict your tea leaves or herbal teas. In this VIKTOR infuser, the tea moves freely throughout the container and thus allows for a perfect infusion. Our friends from the rising sun enjoy their tea without filters.
The lid will still filter the tea particles before serving as our European palates are not used to this.
Because we want to offer sustainable products that respect the environment, we have reviewed their life cycle. Before arriving at your home, the products are packaged in a minimum of single-use plastic. After a full life by your side, you can sort the parts to recycle as much as possible of each component.
In order to stop throwing away a product when it has a slight dent and to avoid single-use plastic, we have redesigned our product.
