IF YOU HAVE ARRIVED HERE...

It's probably because you want to know what we do, why we do it, or even find out who we are, just to make sure we're on the same page. Good idea.

Let's start by keeping it simple.

At OGO, we have set ourselves a mission: to put useful products in your hands at the right price.

In concrete terms, we try to offer a beautiful, sustainable and accessible life style concept. And for that, our main asset is you.

By listening to your needs, we are able to cut costs that are not related to quality and focus on what matters to us: The materials, the fine workmanship and the service.

WHY ARE WE DOING ALL THIS?

No one is in any doubt that in recent years all industries have gone to the dogs.

Home accessories have become disposable and are often manufactured in poor conditions. We buy more and more, only to throw away 60% of them within the first year.

Rather than simply observing that the world is going badly, we prefer to focus on what we can do better.

And what we can do is meet your desire for better products . This is what we think this new consumption is going to look like.

LEARNING TO CONSUME BETTER

To stop thinking that having overflowing kitchen cupboards makes sense. We prefer to defend the idea that having 1 or 2 quality pots and pans is more than enough.

CREATE TO LAST

We feel it, we know it, more and more people want to give meaning to their purchases. We develop our products solidly, and associate a certain number of spare parts with them in order to avoid waste and prolong the usefulness of our products.

TO RECENTER

36% of the world's plastic production is for single use. By 2020, we have set ourselves the goal of eliminating all single-use plastic packaging. Today, we have nearly 460,000 pieces of plastic packaging that are not consumed thanks to alternative solutions.

HELLO IT'S US!

BUT IN CONCRETE TERMS, WHAT DO WE DO?

Already, we like to ask questions.

Our goal, from day one, has been to be useful by making the inside of your wardrobes more meaningful. And being useful means serving people. You.

So rather than trying to guess what you'll want to buy in a year's time, we ask you what you want all the time. By sharing your product experiences with us, you allow us to make them better every day. It seems obvious when you think about it. You know exactly what you want, and if you tell us, we just have to do it.

Then, we work a bit (yes, yes)!

Once we have analysed your answers, we have several steps.

1. Our style and design team creates the product, inspired by our discussions.

2. Our product development team takes over with 2 missions:

Finding the right material for the product. A beautiful, noble, compliant and above all resistant material. To test this, we work with a lab that tests the materials and gives us notes on quality, safety and standards to follow.

To stick to a perfectly fitting design. To do this, we work hard with our partner factories. We develop our own moulds, then launch several series of prototypes to arrive at a useful product perfectly balanced between design, cost and practicality.

We launch few new products to make sure we do them well.

It is better to work hard on one product than to spread the effort over a collection and produce a lot of average products.

Every product we release has to be timeless. Could it have been with you 10 years ago? Could it be with you in 10 years? If so, we are on the right track.

So every product created is reissued regularly. No need to change a good product if it satisfies its owners.

We stick to our mojo

We design useful and sustainable objects to improve your environment, simply and differently. Our products are made to be passed on from one generation to the next, true to our family values and our commitment to our planet.

In essence, OGO is a responsible brand:

- Our products are made to last, which allows us to amortize the impact of making the products over the years.

- We work with basic materials without over-processing, but we've already said that.

- We develop spare parts to avoid throwing away and extend the life of our products.

- And our product team is always trying to reduce the impact of our production, by bringing it closer to France geographically, by reducing/removing all unitary plastic packaging, and by ensuring total traceability of our products.
